“Valentine’s Day…chocolate?”
Dahlia and Rika are at a neighborhood park.
While nodding her head at what Rika is asking for advice…
“Ah, it is almost February 14, isn’t it?”
It is now early February in the year 2021. Valentine’s Day will soon come.
“So I wanted to give Shin-chan some chocolate.”
“Hmmm…”
Rika’s body trembled.
Dahlia leaves her seat once, buys a drink from the vending machine, and comes back.
“Hoi.”
“Thanks.”
“Have you talked to your mom about this?”
Rika’s eyes widened.
I knew it.
If you want to make chocolate, you can look it up in a book or on the Internet and make it yourself.
She didn’t bother to discuss it with her.
The fact that she did it means that there was a reason.
“Rika-tan’s mother is a professional cook.”
Rika’s mother, Yamaga Matsumoto, now works as a chef at a large hotel.
I’ve heard for a long time that she is quite a good cook.
“I want to ask Okaa-san to teach me how to make chocolate. But if I do, she’ll ask a lot of questions…”
“Yeah…I’m sure she’ll tease you a lot…”
“I see…I can distract her from the topic by telling her that we make chocolate together as friends.”

Best friends.
That’s ironic. If I didn’t have a best friend, I would never have met the person I truly love.
Even if I had a best friend, I would not be able to give chocolate to the person I truly love as an expression of my love.
Really, it’s just not possible.
Well, that doesn’t mean I’m going to stand in Rika’s way or take Onii-chan away from her.

Ok I'm confused is it Rika doesn't want to ask her mom for the reading or let her know that her and Shinji are dating because in prior chapters it seemed like her mother knew by saying going on dates and saying to use condoms when on the trip
