Chapter 50 | The End of the Scum Landlord
Shinji Ueda rescued his friend, Dahlia Kurohime.
The next day.
The next day, the landlord of the apartment where Dahlia lives is….
“G…n…this place…?”
The landlord awakens in a hazy state of consciousness.
He is in a room of his own apartment.
“I…I… that’s right. Dahlia’s guy tried to attack me!”
Slowly, he thinks back to yesterday.
Dahlia had said she wanted to quit her job.
Of course, I didn’t allow her to do so.
Then, a mysterious group of men in black broke in.
A big guy hit me on the cheek.
“Ouch! Damn… my face hurts…”
He went to the bathroom and checked the mirror.
His left cheek was caved in.
The bruise from the blow was still there.
“Damn it! What is it with those guys? If I ever see them again, I’ll kill them!”
I don’t know who they are, so I can’t do anything more.
“But…damn, Dahlia’s getting carried away. That b***h…”
I could see the flames of black anger in her eyes.
“She’s a b***h and she’s going against me! Watch it, that b***h. I’m going to spread all her pictures around!”
I have a lot of pictures and videos of Dahlia doing it with other customers.
“Hee hee! I’m gonna leak it all over the Internet…”
The landlord pulls his phone out of his pocket.
He unlocks it and goes to check the images…
What’s this? I can’t find any images or videos of Dahlia.
The images on the phone that were supposed to be saved for [side dish] are not there.
On the contrary, there was no other woman’s, not even Dahlia’s.
“That’s funny. Well, I backed up the data on my computer, so I guess it doesn’t matter.”
But no matter how much I searched through the folders on my computer, all the data I had backed up was lost.
“What? What the hell is going on?”
And that’s when it happened.
A bang…
“What the hell, at a busy time like this!”
The landlord moved to the front door.
…Strange.
The door was supposed to have been broken down by a group of mysterious black men.
But it has been neatly restored.
I was horrified!
The missing photos and a bad premonition came to my mind.
[It's police! Come out! Outaki Matsukasa!]
“What? What the heck are you talking about?”
That’s impossible, why are the police here?
[You are under suspicion of committing se***al misconduct with a minor! Come out of there!]
“That’s absurd!”
Se***al misconduct with a minor.
Indeed, I had done it.
Not only with Dahlia but with other women in the same unfortunate circumstances as her, forcing them to work just as hard as Dahlia.
And then I was found out.
Normally, this would not have been possible.
He had threatened these women with photos and videos.
Furthermore, he knew that an organization was behind him.
With them, I would have been safe!
[Come out!]
“S**t!”
I can’t be found out by any means.
So the landlord thought and went out to the balcony with his phone and wallet in his hand.
Fortunately, this is the first floor.
He quickly escapes over the hedge…
“There he is!”
“Nah!”
Quite a few policemen were surrounding the landlord’s apartment.
“Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey! What the hell? What’s with all the cops?”
There were so many police officers around that it was as if they were trying to catch a terrorist.
“S**t! S**t!”
The landlord was desperate to get away.
He knew the area well enough to know a loophole.
He managed to escape, just as he was about to be arrested.
“What? There’s a helicopter!”
A police helicopter flew overhead.
He could not help but be perplexed at the unbelievable situation.
“Oh, no, no, no, no! We need the people of [above] to protect us!”
I called the organization that was the head of the underworld business.
But the phone lines are busy.
“What the hell is going on?”
There must be an office of the organization nearby.
I decided to escape there first.
That’s what I thought, so I ran away…
“What?”
A large number of police officers were again swarming around the office.
Constituents came out of the office and were taken away in police cars.
With this, the organization that protected me disappeared.
“What the hell is going on…what the hell is going on!”
“! There he is!”
“Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!”
Again, the landlord runs away.
He ran away.
Running, running…
Alone in a back alley, he crouched with his back against the wall.
“Haa! Huh! S**t! What the hell is this?”
Things were supposed to be going well until today.
I don’t know why, but everything fell apart.
The exploiters, the protectors, everything.
Ringgg♪
“What? What the…?”
I received a call from an unknown number.
I answered the call with trepidation.
[You are Outaki…or is it the landlord?]
It was the voice of an old man I had never heard before.
“Who the hell are you?”
[I don’t have a name to give to a piece of trash like you.]
“You’re an old man, you know that? You’re getting carried away!”
[Oh… you’ve got a lot of nerve. You are not a good name for an old man. Look around you.]
The black-clad men were surrounding the place.
“What? When did this happen?”
If I look closely, I see that they are the same men who had attacked my house the other day.
“You foolishly laid a hand on my precious grandson’s [sister].”
“Sister?”
[Well, it has nothing to do with you, who are about to be caught.]
The police officials pass by the black-clad men and secure the landlord.
“Damn it! Let go of me! Let go of me!”
The old man’s cold voice echoes from the fallen phone.
[Oh, you can rest assured that I’ve erased all the black stuff you were involved in.]
The office of the anti-social group had just been caught by the police.
Was that also the work of this old man?
[I hope you will be brought to justice. But even if you are lucky enough to get out, don’t think there is a place for you in society. As long as I live, I will never forgive you.]
“Damn it! Let go of me! F**k, get off of me!”
Everything was going so well.
But as soon as I tried to r**e Dahlia, it all came crashing down.
Everything I had built up, my money-making system, my powerful connections, it was all gone in an instant.
[Farewell, fool. You are the one who deserves to suffer forever in that darkness.]
