I came to Grandpa’s house.
First of all, I said hello to Grandpa.
I was ushered into a ridiculously huge room.
Whenever I see it, it always looks like a movie set.
A white-haired old man sat at the head of the room.
With his traditional clothing and sharp eyes, he almost looks like a gangster.
But I know him.
“Shinjiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!”
Grandpa stood up and ran over to me.
He then hugged me.
“Ohhhh, hey, hey, hey! Shinji! Welcome!”
He rubbed his cheek against mine like grated radish.
This man was Kaida Kogen.
He was apparently some important person in Japan, but to me he was just an annoying old man.
“Long time no see, Grandpa.”
“Oh Shinji! And well done!”

“What’s this all of a sudden?”
“You slept with the girl who will become your wife the other day, didn’t you?”
Wife? Maybe she means Rika.

This guy does stuff like that all the time.

…Rika and Dahlia were blank-faced while we were talking. Ah, I agree.
That was too much of an inside joke.
“Sorry, you two. I introduced you, right? This is Kaida’s Oji-san. His nickname is Crazy Oji-san.”
“Kaida Kogen. Nice to meet you, ladies.”
His smile doesn’t give away his usual crazy behavior.
But don’t be fooled.
“This guy is crazy.”
“Hahaha! Shinji. You’ve started saying that now. Grandpa is so happy!”
Ru-chan and I have known him for a long time, so we know very well how crazy he is.
