Chapter 130 | Story
[Shinji's Point of View]
When I left the school, Saburo Niekawa helped me out.
“Thank you, Saburo-san.”
“Nahaha! That’s all right! We’re friends, aren’t we?
Saburo-san is usually quite a rascal, but sometimes he is very dependable.
He’s the kind of guy who usually gets himself into trouble though.
And although he calls us friends, we are actually distant relatives.
The Niekawa and Ueda families are distant relatives.
“But how did you manage to find me so quickly?”
“That’s because Kogen-sama put a wire on you!”
“Ah… yes.”
I took off my blazer and fumbled around my neckline.
“Oh! Damn it! Kogen-sama told me not to tell anyone!”
“Yes, yes.”
I snapped the wiretap shut.
Damn, that old man is so quick to bug me.
I’m always so annoyed with him.
“But I think it helped me today.”
“Really? Hahaha! That was great!”
Grandpa loves his grandchildren so much that he goes too far.
I'm used to it now.
“There are no more wiretaps, are there?”
“Oh, there’s a lot?”
There are?
“Ha! That was a secret too!”
“Well, if I find one I’ll destroy it, so it’s fine.”
It’s a crime after all.
But I got away with it this time, so it’s fine.
I learned that wiretaps are useful too.
But I don’t think something like this will ever happen again.
“I’ll send Ru-chan a LINE message.”
Grandpa’s done it again, he says.
Ru-chan replies right away.
“I’m going to punish Grandpa by not speaking to him for a day.”
Oh, that’s deadly.
This is probably the hardest thing for Grandpa.
He got what he deserved, though.
