I came to say hello to my grandfather’s family.
Then…
“Excuse me! I’ve brought your daughter!”
Terminator Niekawa Saburo comes into the room.
“Young lady?”
Dahlia and Rika tilt their heads.
I think this is the first time we’ve met, not just Dahlia, but Rika too.
“Oh, so it’s Ryuko!”
A beautiful white-haired girl comes into the room.
She has shiny white hair and red eyes like a rabbit.
She’s petite and elegant, and dressed in a kimono.
Rika can’t help but stare at her.
“Yaa, Shin-kun.”
“Shin-kun?”
Rika opens her eyes wide in shock.
“Hello, Ru-chan.”
“Ru-chan?!”
Rika is startled again.
It’s been a while since we’ve seen Ru-chan.
“How have you been, Ru-chan?”
“Oh, I’m fine. And I’m glad to see that Shin-kun is doing well too.”
As we’re talking…
“Shin-chan!!!!”
Rika puffs out her cheeks like mochi.
What’s wrong?
“Who’s this little kid?!”
“Who do you mean… my ex-fiance?”
“This guy!”
Rika screams and holds her head in her hands!
What?! W-what’s wrong?!
“Abba-baba, fiancée… fiancée…”
“Rika-chan, calm down. I said it’s an ex.”
“Huh?! Oh, oh… that’s good… so, who are you?”
Rika asks Ru-chan.
Ru-chan smiles and bows gracefully.
“Nice to meet you. My name is Kaida Ryuko.”
“Kaida…? Eh… so…?”
Rika glances at the grandfather from the main family.
“Yes. I’m this person’s grandson.”
“I, I see…”
Dahlia nods as if she understands.
“You two seem to get along well because you’re relatives.”
“Yeah. We’ve been together since we were little.”
Rika says with a sulky look.
“Do you like him?”
“Well.”
“Well!? Shin-chan’s cheating!”
“Whaaaaaaaat!?”
Wh, why is that happening!?
The only person I like is Rika!
“Calm down, you know. Shin-kun doesn’t like me as the opposite sex.”
“Eh, is that so…?”
I nod.
We’re relatives after all.
“I, I see… but what about the ex-fiance?”
“There was a time when that crazy grandfather over there tried to get me and Makoto together.”
“… that’s crazy.”
“Right?”
Kutsukutsu, Ru-chan laughs.
The real grandfather didn’t seem particularly bothered and was watching the interaction between us, and his grandsons.
“Saburo, did you record it?”
“It’s perfect, Kogen-sama! In 4K quality!”
