Chapter 66 | Cafe
After flirting with Rika at the beach, we headed to a cafe near the ocean.
“Hey there, Onii-chan, Rika-tan!”
My stepsister Dahlia was drinking a café latte on the deck.
She was waving her hand in the air. The way she was smiling at me seemed like she was trying to tease me.
“I’ve been watching you two lovebirds. How cute♡”
Dahlia said she would stay here by herself when we went to the beach.
I’m sure she was just trying to make sure we were alone, even though she said it was cold. She is a thoughtful stepsister.
“So lovey-dovey…don’t you?”
“Oh, yeah. I’ll go get you a drink.”
“Thanks ♡♡♡♡♡♡”
Rika giggles. I love this defenseless, squishy smile of hers. Just looking at it makes me feel cheerful.
I order a café au lait at the reception desk and return.
“So, Shin-chan put me on his lap and touched my hair ♡hehehehe~♡”
“When did you become such a playboy, Onii-chan?”
Dahlia-san gives me a teasing smile. Mou…
I pass the coffee to Rika. I blow on the cup and let it cool down.
“Shin-chan has always been a prince. He was cool and wonderful. Right ♡”
“I wonder if that’s true…”
I met Rika when I was in elementary school. Back then, I was the odd man out at school… I didn’t think I was cool or nice…
“That’s right! No more! Shin-chan, no negativity!”
Rika is angry with me.
“I’m the one who thinks Shin-chan is nice and cool! That’s good enough for you, right?”
“That’s…I see.”
It doesn’t matter what other people think of me. As long as Rika, the girl I love, is there and compliments me… it’s fine.
“The two of you are so lovey-dovey…”
Dahlia laughs happily.
“I’m so happy that you two are such a good couple.”

I feel like all the lunch chapters should have been one and all the beach chapters and this should have been one. Because these are considerably shorter than normal chapters
