Chapter 164 | Ueda Dahlia’s Happy Ending
After finishing my meeting with the teacher, I stepped out of the student guidance room…
“Shin-chan!” “Onii-chan!”
My girlfriend Rika and my younger sister Dahlia were waiting for me.
Rika immediately hugged me tightly, squishing me against her.
While it was a little uncomfortable, her soft skin and sweet scent always calmed my heart.
…But today, I felt a bit blue.
I was hiding something important from Rika—specifically, that I was at the center of all the chaos surrounding the recent events.
“Onii-chan.”
Suddenly, I locked eyes with Dahlia. She seemed to have an inkling of what was going on.
“Uh… actually, Rika-tan is feeling unwell,” she said smoothly.
““Huh!?””
I could understand why I would be surprised by this revelation—but why was Rika also surprised?
“Dahlia… I'm fine… mmmph!”
Dahlia quickly pulled Rika away and covered her mouth.
“So, Onii-chan, you're taking Rika-tan home now, okay?”
“Well, um… sure…”
If she really were unwell, we should get her home right away. But she didn't seem sick at all…
Then Dahlia leaned in closer to whisper in my ear.
“…You want to tell Rika about something important? Like the Blood March incident?”
“…! You know about it?”
“It's become quite the rumor around school. Everyone thinks you're involved but that you're keeping quiet from Rika.”
Her intuition was impressive—like a detective or a skilled secretary!
“I'll let the teacher know that Onii-chan is leaving early; you just take care of Rika-tan,” Dahlia said confidently.
“Okay, got it.”
With a smile, Dahlia gave Rika a gentle push toward me. “So then, Onii-chan. Please look after Rika-tan.”
“Yes! Come on then, Rika.”
She hesitantly reached out her hand towards me. But once we held hands together, her expression melted into a soft smile.
“Thank you so much for everything you do for me, Dahlia.”
“No problem at all!”
Dahlia grinned brightly as she replied.
“I'll always be on your side no matter what happens—no matter who denies our bond between you and Rika-tan!”
“Dahlia…”
To be honest—it scared me to think about confessing everything to Rika. What if she turned away from me? What if she hated me?
The idea of being left alone afterward terrified me more than anything else…
But… Dahlia was here for support.
She reassured me that she’d always stand by my side regardless of circumstances.
That made me feel grateful—and strengthened my resolve to share what had been weighing on my heart.
“Thank you so much again, Dahlia. I love you.”
“…………”
Dahlia's eyes widened in surprise before breaking into a soft smile and nodding slowly in understanding.
“Alright then! Go on back home now; leave everything else to your big sister!”
Gratefully thanking her one last time before parting ways with Dahlia brought warmth inside my chest.

[Dahlia Point of View]
Watching Shinji and Rika walk away together made Dahlia exhale deeply.
“He loves her… huh?”
In the past when hearing those words directed elsewhere caused pain within her heart.
Because that love wasn't romantic but familial affection instead.
Inside Dahlia’s chest still smoldered feelings of admiration towards Shinji—those lingering emotions refusing to fade away completely even now…
Each time someone uttered “I love you,” it threatened to reveal more than just sisterly affection within herself as a woman too…
This conflict would likely remain unchanged going forward; perhaps those feelings for him would never truly disappear—
But showing them openly would never happen either—and in truth—that's how things should stay for now…
“To be loved as family isn't bad at all.”
As she watched their retreating figures disappear from view again determinedly reaffirming herself,
Dahlia resolved: From this moment forth—she'd remain steadfast beside both Shinji and Rika while providing support whenever needed!
And locking away those feelings hidden deep inside regarding Shinji as more than just an older brother remained essential during these times…
Continuously striving toward happiness alongside them both—as nothing less than their supportive sibling—a family member they could count upon forevermore!
“Well then—I guess it's time for some cleanup duty.”
Thus began another day filled with responsibilities where this loving sister worked tirelessly ensuring harmony flourished among them all while embracing family life along every step taken together forward ahead!

I know this isn't that kind of story but I was kinda hoping she would end up like a mistress of his or a second wife. Shinjis grandfather has multiple wives I mean Shinji's family is a branch family that was started with one of his other ones. I know Rika is the one he's in love with but you got a feel bad for Daliah
