Time passes, and it is the beginning of March.

Rika Matsumoto wakes up.

“…”

She has been having one big worry lately.

In late January, she went on a trip with Shinji and his friends, and there she had s*x with her boyfriend for the first time… exactly one month has passed since then.

“…It’s not coming.”

That’s right, but what should have come hasn’t.

At first, she didn’t worry too much.

But now that it hasn’t come, she starts to get anxious.

“Rika-chan”

“Mom…”

Her mother comes to Rika’s room out of concern.

Her mother, Yamaga, used to work in the nightlife industry but now works as a chef in a high-end hotel.

Yamaga asks her daughter Rika with a worried look on her face.

“What’s wrong? Are you feeling sick?”

… She didn’t want to make her mother too worried.

Her mother has just started a new job.

She can’t take a break.

“No, it’s okay. It’s just a little heavy.”

And so, Rika rubs her stomach.

“I see… wait for me!”

And so, her mother leaves the room and reappears with a hot water bottle.

“Here you go! Put this on your stomach and get plenty of rest today.”

Her mother is considerate. While she is happy about her kindness, the fact that she lied hurts her heart.

“Yes… thank you.”

Still, she lies because she doesn’t want to cause trouble for her mother.

“Ya-chan is taking a break from work too!”

“You can’t take a break from work just because of your daughter’s period. See, I’m telling you.”

“Chi. See you, Rika-chan.”

After her mother leaves… Rika is overcome with anxiety.

“… what should I do? What should I say?”

I can’t believe that nothing has come since I went on that trip with Shinji…
