Chapter 9: No NTR allowed
Translator: Soafp
“Aah, good morning, Kamiki-kun.”
“Morning~♪”
The day after I talked with Aizawa and Nakazato on the rooftop.
This morning, a series of small accidents made me leave home late, and I ended up arriving at school later than usual.
Thinking I was probably one of the last ones to arrive, I entered the classroom — just as Aizawa and Nakazato, who were nearby, greeted me.
“G-good morning…”
Their beautiful smiles were enough to blow away any trace of morning drowsiness. I couldn't meet their eyes and ended up looking away.
(…Crap, yesterday's conversation is flashing through my mind again.)
Even after getting home, I'd been rolling around on my bed thinking about that rooftop talk.
It was such a cringeworthy thing to say, and honestly, I might've been trying to act cool since I was talking to two beautiful girls.
Still, it was just a greeting.
Neither of them seemed bothered by my reaction and simply went back to chatting with their friends. Thank god.
“Hey, Masato, you looked totally nervous when the two class beauties talked to you.”
“You looked down right away.”
“You were so red!”
“Shut up. Anyone would get nervous if two of the prettiest girls in the whole school said good morning to them.”
At times like this, there's no point denying it — just admit it and move on.
By the way, I hadn't told Touya or the others about what happened on the rooftop, and since the girls hadn't said anything either, it looked like our little secret was safe.
It's not like it would be a big deal if they told anyone, but still… it's embarrassing.
“…?”
While I was talking with Touya and the guys, I suddenly felt someone's gaze on me.
When I casually glanced around, my eyes met Nakazato's. This time, instead of looking away, I stared back.
(…What the hell am I doing?)
But — something about her eyes seemed strange.
Her sapphire-blue eyes, which were usually clear and beautiful, looked darker somehow… almost cloudy.
“…!?”
At that moment, I pulled out my phone, pretending to check something — and suddenly, my NTR Sensor went off!
“Masato?”
“Wh-what's wrong?”
The loud noise I made startled everyone, and the whole class turned to look at me again, just like last time.
But this was an emergency, so I rushed out of the classroom.
“It’s here… someone in this school!”
I muttered under my breath as I walked quickly down the hallway.
Unlike the weird false alarm before, this time the sensor was clearly reacting from somewhere in the school.
“…The third floor?”
The signal pointed upstairs — to the third floor, where the upperclassmen's classrooms were.
I felt awkward about intruding, but now wasn't the time to hesitate.
Something vile was about to happen, right at this very moment!
“…Good, looks like it's this way.”
Surprisingly, the signal wasn't coming from one of the senior classrooms, but from the corner area near the unused rooms.
Passing by a few upperclassmen, I followed the signal all the way to an old storage room that doubled as an empty classroom.
“This place reeks of NTR…”
Doing something like this at school… how bold.
But I'll be the one to put an end to this evil!
I pressed my ear to the door — and oddly enough, I could hear the conversation inside perfectly clearly.
“…Huh?”
It shocked me so much I whispered aloud.
It felt like my hearing had sharpened, just like when time slows down during an activation. I focused on the voices coming from inside.
“Honestly, I'm way better for you than that prissy girl who won't even let you touch her.”
“W-what are you saying all of a sudden…?”
“Come on, you're in high school — being close like that is what girlfriends are supposed to do. But she keeps making you hold back, right? I'd never do that. If you want it, I'd give it to you anytime.”
…Wait, huh?
That's not what I expected. This didn't sound like someone being attacked at all.
Carefully, I peeked through the door crack.
A flashy-looking gal-type senior girl was leaning toward a fairly handsome senior boy.
“Seriously… if you're just gonna say that, I'm leaving. You said you wanted to talk about your worries with your girl friend, but I didn't think you meant this kind of talk.”
Wait— this is the reverse pattern?
I mean, NTR is NTR, but I always pictured it being a guy stealing a girl, not the other way around… though yeah, this could happen too. It's just my first time seeing it live.
“I really like you, you know? So I thought I'd just have a little taste… but are you sure you want to say no?”
“Huh?”
“If you don't do what I say… something bad might happen to your girl, you know?”
“What are you talking about?”
“What am I talking about? Oh, you know~ Like maybe that prissy girlfriend of yours suddenly turns into a man-eater who sleeps around… or maybe she falls for some guy who's way rougher and leaves you for him~”
The senior girl smiled in a way that made my skin crawl.
What she was saying was absolutely awful — but weirdly, my sensor was reacting even stronger now.
It was like it was detecting both the guy being targeted and the possibility of his girlfriend being corrupted.
(A girl's boyfriend being stolen is NTR, but the boyfriend's girlfriend getting… corrupted and stolen away is also NTR, huh? Man, this is straight out of a doujin plot…)
Still, that made things clear.
The victim here was the senior boy — and the one trying to trap him was the senior girl.
Now… what should I do?
For some reason, though, my sensor was telling me it was okay to show myself.
Not sure why, but trusting that feeling, I opened the door and stepped inside.
[Third person PoV]
For them, it was a shocking sight.
“W-what…?”
“Who the hell…?”
Both the guy and the girl froze in fear.
The door burst open — and what entered was something beyond words.
A warrior, radiating an aura like that of a raging demon.
“You dare attempt something so vile, woman?”
“Eek!?”
His voice — the voice of the armored warrior — seemed to echo directly in their ears, impossible to forget.
The girl screamed and tried to run, but her legs wouldn't move, as if nailed to the floor.
“Wh-who the hell are you—”
“Silence, wretch.”
The deep, rumbling voice from behind the demon mask made her tremble even harder.
(What is this… I can feel pure hatred from him.)
The boy saw it too — that burning hatred in the warrior's crimson eyes.
It was as if he utterly despised something… and vowed to destroy it completely.
(N… T… R… death…?)
Anyone else might have been confused, but the atmosphere was so intense that the glowing words floating behind the warrior didn't even seem out of place.
It looked just like a finishing move animation from a fighting game — complete with flashy sound effects.
“I don't want to die… please, I'll stop! I promise I'll stop!”
The girl was crying now, dropping to her knees in terror.
Don't underestimate words alone — she wasn't pretending. She was utterly convinced this warrior could kill her at any moment.
“A-awesome…”
“Hmph.”
The warrior glanced at the boy, making him straighten his back.
“Treasure your woman. Protecting the one you love — that is the duty of a man. The anger you felt when she was threatened… was righteous.”
“Y-yes, sir!”
The warrior nodded in approval — and vanished.
The boy stood there, bowing deeply, both grateful for being saved and moved by the warrior's words.
The NTR Sensor reacts to all forms of NTR.
And today, it had taught Masato just what that truly meant.
“…Wait, all I did was tell her to stop doing bad stuff, right? So why did that senior girl look like she was about to die? And the guy looked… really inspired…?”
Whatever just happened, even Masato himself couldn't understand it.
