Chapter 1: The name of the app is Netora Sensor.

“Being NTR’d on is disgusting~”
I muttered that as I tossed my phone onto the bed.
Just a moment ago, I'd been reading a manga that used NTR as its theme. The protagonist and heroine had been such a happy couple that it genuinely tore at my heart.
Even so, I still found myself tapping to read more. It was like some kind of irresistible magic coming from the art itself—and honestly, I couldn't help but get excited by it.
“Even though NTR stories crush your heart, your body still reacts to them. It's kind of crazy, huh…? Probably not just me though.”
I figured my otaku friends would feel the same way—but then again, one of them always swore he hated NTR with a passion, so maybe not.
“Haa…”
Still, maybe that lingering feeling of discomfort was exactly what those stories were aiming for.
I sat there zoning out for a while before picking up my phone again—and noticed something strange.
“Huh… what's this?”
There was an unfamiliar app on my screen.
“‘NetoraSensor'…?”
Apparently, that was its name—NetoraSensor—but I had no memory of ever downloading it.
I figured it must've installed itself somehow and was about to delete it, thinking it might be a virus, when my finger accidentally brushed the screen—launching the app.
“Crap…”
But instead of leaking my personal info or anything, the app just… started up normally.
“What the hell is this…”
The screen started flashing like some kind of radar, and then text appeared:
“This NetoraSensor reacts to signs of an impending NTR incident—situations that will bring misfortune and breakup to couples. If you go to a location where the app reacts, you will find both the would-be cheater and the victim there.”
“…Huh?”
What the hell kind of app is this?
It was so ridiculous I couldn't help but think it was some kind of joke. I mean, if someone was going to make nonsense like this, they might as well give me a hypnosis app instead.
“This app grants you the power to eradicate all cheating scumbags. When you arrive at a scene it detects, you will temporarily gain the strength to repel the perpetrator—something normally impossible.”
“…What am I, Superman now?”
As I was thinking that, a sharp beep came from my phone.
“W-What the—!?”
The app had activated and was now pointing north.
“Well… I'm free today. Might as well play along.”
At that moment, I didn't believe it at all.
I mean, come on. If something like this really existed, the world would be chaos.
“Mom! I'm going out for a bit!”
“Okay, be careful, dear!”
After calling out to my mom, I dashed out of the house.
When I got to the park, it was quieter than usual—only a few parents and kids around.
“Here…?”
This was the location the app pointed to.
As I walked deeper in, I saw something unbelievable.
“W-Wait, is that…!?”
I ducked behind a tree without thinking.
“Please, just let me go!”
“Oh come on, no need to be so cold after we finally meet again.”
“You dragged me out here for this? Give it a rest already!”
It was a man and a woman arguing—but it clearly wasn't an ordinary conversation.
I didn't know the guy, but the girl—I did.
“Aizawa…?”
Runa Aizawa. A stunning beauty with an incredible figure—the kind of girl everyone called untouchable.
Not only was she gorgeous, but her curvy chest could make any guy's imagination run wild. I'd never say it out loud, but I'd definitely dreamed about what it would be like to touch them just once.
But that was impossible—she already had a boyfriend.
A classmate, actually, and together they were the school's “it couple”—beautiful, admired, and perfect.
“We dated back in middle school, remember?”
“That was barely anything! And you forced me! You said you'd hurt my friend if I didn't!”
“Still counts as dating, doesn't it? …Wait, don't tell me you're still a virgin? With a rack like that and your boyfriend hasn't touched you? What a loser.”
“Shut up! Don't compare him to someone like you!”
“Hah, that feisty attitude—missed that. You know, I love breaking spirited girls like you… so—”
“Eek!?”
That… that's definitely the vibe of an NTR scene!!
“…You've gotta be kidding me.”
Was this app… for real?
While I stood there stunned, the punk-looking guy started groping Aizawa's chest.
He sneered, while she froze in fear.
I remembered her once saying to me:
“I don't know much about otaku stuff, but it's nice that you're confident about what you like.”
She had said that after overhearing me and my friends talking about manga. Most girls would've looked disgusted, but she'd just smiled and said it was great to have friends who share your hobbies.
“…Yeah. I can't just stand here.”
Even if that memory didn't exist, there's no way I could ignore a classmate in trouble.
App or not, I would've acted the same.
“Hey! Leave her alone, you piece of trash!”
“Hah?”
“Kamiki-kun…!?”
Both of them turned toward me.
Aizawa's face was streaked with tears—so different from the calm, smiling girl she usually was.
“The hell you think you're doing, punk?”
“You're the punk here. Forcing yourself on a crying girl? You've seriously lost it… oh wait, maybe you never had a brain to begin with.”
“…What?”
Huh.
Why was my mouth working so fast all of a sudden? I didn't remember being this smooth.
The guy clearly saw me as an enemy now. He let go of Aizawa and stomped toward me.
“You've got a big mouth for a nobody.”
“Yeah, yeah. Let me guess—you're one of those dyed-hair, pierced, wannabe tough guys, huh? Bet your parents are so proud of you.”
“…Tch. You're annoying as hell.”
Guess I hit a nerve.
He swung at me—but weirdly, his movement looked slow.
Even Aizawa's scream sounded like it was in slow motion.
I easily sidestepped him and shoved him back.
“Take that!”
“Guh!?”
He fell flat on his butt.
He got up and tried again—same result.
“W-What the hell is going on!?”
“…No way…”
Could this really be… the power the app mentioned?
I felt confidence flooding through me—along with a strong desire to protect Aizawa.
NTR must never be allowed to happen. No one should destroy a couple that loves each other!
“Haaah!”
I punched a nearby tree lightly—and it dented.
Crap, sorry, tree.
The punk stared in shock as I walked up to him.
“If you ever lay a finger on her again—this'll be you next time.”
“F-Fine! I got it! Aaahhh!!”
He screamed and ran off.
(…Did that seriously just happen?)
I didn't have the kind of presence to scare people like that normally.
So yeah—it had to be the app's power.
“Oh, right! Aizawa, are you okay!?”
“Kamiki-kun…!”
She burst into tears again and suddenly hugged me tight.
(Whoa! S-soft!! Super soft!!)
Soft… very soft. I won't say what exactly, but soft.
Still, this girl had just been assaulted—I had to focus on comforting her.
“I just happened to be nearby, but I'm glad I got here in time.”
“I was so scared… I couldn't move…”
“Hey, that's normal. Most people would freeze in a situation like that—and you're a girl. You couldn't have overpowered him.”
“…Honestly, I thought it was over for me… but…”
“Heh, I'm just glad I could help. My body moved on instinct, but damn, go me, right?”
I tried to keep the mood light.
After a bit, she calmed down and remembered she was supposed to meet her boyfriend.
“Kamiki-kun, thank you so much.”
“Don't worry about it. Saving a beautiful girl? Totally worth it!”
“Eh—n-no, I'm not that—”
“Yeah, you are! You're super cute when you blush like that!”
“…!”
“Anyway, I'll head home. See you at school!”
“O-Okay! Thanks again, Kamiki-kun!”
And with that, we went our separate ways.
“This app… might actually be the real deal.”
There really was an NTR scene about to happen—and I'd used some kind of impossible power. That slow-motion thing too…
Maybe this app really could destroy NTR incidents.
Even if I never got romantically involved with anyone myself, seeing someone smile like that was enough.
“Guess I'll keep using it for a while…!”
And thus began my strange new life.
A life alongside the mysterious app NetoraSensor, fighting against the scum who shatter loving couples—and sometimes, against the women who betray them too.
This is the beginning of the chaotic days of me—Masato Kamiki.
