Chapter 43 | Ex-girlfriend Regrets, Part 4
Shinji Ueda was asked on a date with Dahlia.
Beginning of the week.
Nakatsugawa Imoko arrives for class.
“Good morning, everyone.”
The boys in her class used to treat her like a queen.
But…
“It’s going to be exam vacation soon,” “I’m looking forward to it,” “It’s so nice to have a weekday off from school.”
…They treat her as if she were air.
Even when she greeted them, no one responded.
No one paid attention to her.
That hurts Imoko’s self-esteem.
“Tch…!”
With gritted teeth, Imoko heads for her desk.
“Eh? Hey…what’s this?”
Her chair was gone.
“Who hid it!”
But still, the classmates ignore them.
…It’s no wonder.
Imoko was already being mildly bullied by her classmates.
It happened on the day of the heavy snowfall the other day.
She had told her classmates that she would give them a ride home, but in the end, the car that would pick them up never arrived.
In addition, she had been bragging about how rich she was, but she was completely defeated by Shinji, who had his own helicopter.
The boys who had been pampering her because of her money no longer pampered her.
What’s more…
[For some reason] No one knows, but there was information going around that Imoko was the one who forced Kasuji Kisogawa to transfer schools.
That’s the truth, yes.
She asked her father to arrange for Kisogawa to be transferred to another school.
There was no way they would find out.
The power of her father’s company must have covered it up…and yet…
As a result, with the added information that she was the woman who had forced Kisogawa to change schools, she was being ignored or bullied by both boys and girls.
“……”
Imoko was angry.
She was angry that the people who had been praising her suddenly became cold to her.
Frustrated, Imoko picked up her chair, which had been left outside in the hallway.
“Good morning.”
At that moment, Shinji entered the classroom.
“Oh, Shin-chan! Good morning!”
Rika Matsumoto, who had taken her seat earlier, smiled and waved.
Shinji also smiled and went to her.
“Tsk…you have it nice, Matsumoto-san.”
“Ueda-kun, who’s very rich, is your boyfriend.”
“Even though it’s a fake relationship.” [TLN: This 3 line is Imoko talking to herself]
Yes, the classmates still misunderstood that Rika was dating Shinji as a punishment.
In other words, they think that Shinji doesn’t live in Rika’s heart and that he doesn’t like her.
(If it weren’t for that woman… now…)
I could have been the girlfriend of a man with more money than my father.
If I had known he was kind and had money, I would never have cheated on him.
“Rika, you know, we have a day off for exams.”
“Shall we go out somewhere?”
Shinji shook his head.
“I’m sorry, Dahlia-san asked me to go out with her.”
“What? Ugh, cheating on me?”
Rika gives Shinji an uneasy look.
“No way. I wanted to thank her for her help on your birthday the other day.”
“Oh, I see. I understand.”
The dark expression on her face just now is replaced by a sigh of relief.
“Is it okay?”
“Yeah. Dahlia is my friend.”
Dahlia is probably the other gal in the next class.
The gals must be close to each other.
“Thanks.”
“But don’t cheat on me, okay?”
“I know, I know.”
“Really?”
Rika stared at me.
“Then pinky promise!”
“Okay.”
“Eheheh♡”
…The two of them are doing pinky promises with their little fingers together.
Their classmates look at them enviously.
“Damn it! Even though you’re acting…!” “Ueda-kun must like it…how nice…”
Classmates look at Rika and Shinji with envy.
Imoko sees this and watches with gritted teeth.
(What is this? Shinji-kun was mine! Damn it! Damn it…!)
If I hadn’t let go of Shinji, I wouldn’t have lost my place in the class.
On the contrary, I would have gotten a rich guy who would have made me even more popular than I am now, and I would have been the envy of all my classmates….
While everyone around her was chatting happily, Imoko sighed in solitude.
It’s not mandatory but if you like my TLs and want to support me you can do it on Ko-fi and Patreon.

September 30, 2023 at 11:08 pmMan, this b***h sucks. The author tends to write stories like this. In “You Can’t Be the God-writer”, the childhood friend rejected the guy extremely harshly but as soon as it was revealed that he was indeed the “God writer” she tried to get back to him but lost everything and lives happily ever after with his harem. Well, it’s still better to see girls who are trash like this to fall rather tha girls who treated the MC harshly due to a misunderstanding and then regret it later on….
