Epilogue

“……Hey, Daiki?”
“Did the view look good to you?”
Reina murmured softly as she gazed out at the cityscape she had spent time with him in, the place holding memories of their moments together.
Carefully unwrapping the gift paper from Daiki’s present, she opened the square case, and a faint smile crossed her lips.
“Did you realize that I wanted these earrings back then… even though I didn’t say anything? You noticed, didn’t you?”
With the earrings in her hands, she put them on her ears and then turned around as if to show them off, almost as if trying to show them to the present Daiki.
“Uhm… Daiki, how do they look?”
“Yeah, they suit you, Reina. They’re cute…”
Hearing his compliment close to her ear, Reina, unable to contain her embarrassment, jumped onto Daiki’s chest, hugging him tightly. In his embrace, she found the familiar warmth she had been searching for.
“Thank you, Daiki. I love you so much!”
Covering her embarrassment with the gratitude, Reina hugged Daiki tightly, and as his embrace surrounded her, tears of happiness flowed down her cheeks.
“You’re still as clingy as ever, Reina, aren’t you? If you hug me like that, I can’t even see your face, which I love so much.”
“That is because I want to be with my beloved Daiki forever!”
As she expressed her feelings, Reina looked up at Daiki’s face. In the moment she saw the orange-hued sky, a sudden shock struck her, and her consciousness blurred as her vision faded away…
Reina was found unconscious in a reddish blackened state at the school in the morning sun after a dark and muggy night when a student came to school for morning practice and found the reddish blackened front entrance.
The location where Reina was found was the same spot where her childhood friend and boyfriend, Daiki, had passed away. From her posture, the rumor spread throughout the school that she had taken her own life following his death. As a result, the front entrance, now stained with the colors of red and black, was permanently closed.
Several years passed. The staff members who had witnessed the scene had all been transferred, and the details of the incident were slowly fading away. However, the tragic love story born from a wrongful accusation continued to be passed down from seniors to juniors….

This depressing story aside, I have been one this site for a few days now and see that most of the stuff here have some kind of sad background or ending.
Like the translator went through something otherwise this is absurd.
I think the reason it says the front entrance was red and black was because some of the blood oxidized.
bruh so she got thundershocked or what? how did she die?
I think those girls who falsely accused him get but anything is not mentioned about them even they regret their action or not . This is very depressing
Thanks for translation this.
this is not a tragic love story, this is a real tragedy of bullying and the irresponsible attitude of the school leadership. in general, the embarrassment of one girl led to two suicides
No punishmen agains the stupid girls who lost her underwear? no punishmen again the other childhood friend? that hurts...
Pity.
Glass boy from TGTM were more stronger.
But he was not alone at this point.
.....*sigh* and the bullying got away with no consequences. Hope the dumb girl is in hell never to be with him.
This was a very deep story. I also wished to know what happened to the other characters and i was disappointed that the author ended it in 3 chapters. I'm not really great in writing, but here is what I attempted. If Soafp wants to add it to this series I would be honored. https://www.scribblehub.com/series/855790/wills-and-chosen-futures/
That was sad. I really want to know what happened after things came to light with the class tho. Thanks for the chapters.
Atleast they have reunited in a better place.
Thanks for hte chapter
just like the previous chapter. I hope we can see the POV of Kaoru and her classmates years after the incident.
That was really depressing.
