Arc 1.5 – Episode 1: Encounter with a Nemesis
[Side: Ichigo]
This all happened after I stirred up Aria-chan's anxiety on the last day of the semester. I thought she'd gone off somewhere, but thanks to the surveillance app I installed on Kyo-kun's phone (with his permission), I soon found out she was headed straight for his room.
Could it be… today's the day I finally witness Kyo-kun's NTR scene? Huehehe~ I can't wait~
Humming a tune, I strolled down the hallway, anticipation bubbling up, until I suddenly bumped into someone.
“Kyah!”
“Whoa!”
I let out an embarrassing yelp, landing flat on my butt.
“Ouch…”
Looking up, I saw an unfamiliar male student. Judging by the color of his tie, he was in the same grade.
“You okay?” He held out a hand, looking concerned.
Normally, I'd respond, “Oh, no worries. It was my fault too,” and take his hand to stand, but…
Without a word, I got up on my own, brushing past him. Like I'd ever cozy up to anyone other than Kyo-kun.
But then, two girls appeared out of nowhere, blocking my path.
“Hey! It's rude to just walk off without saying anything, you know!”
“Yuka, don't be so harsh,” said the short-haired girl with chestnut hair, trying to calm down the twin-tailed girl who'd yelled at me. But the way they both stood in front of me, I could feel their hostility.
And wow, the twin-tailed one had huge boobs! I tend to hide my figure, and while Aria-chan's got a pretty good size, this girl's are even bigger. G-cups or something? Damn, twin-tailed boobs…
“Now, now, calm down. Maybe she's just shy,” the guy said, stepping between me and the two girls.
“Stay out of this, Shuuji! She should apologize properly!”
“Yeah, kind of agree,” added the short-haired girl.
With his words, their hostility only grew. Instead of arguing, he grabbed my wrist and started pulling me along.
“Let's go to the infirmary and make sure you're okay.”
“Hey, wait, Shuuji!”
The girls shouted after us.
What is this? What the f**k is this? Some kind of rom-com? Am I the heroine, and this Shu-guy the protagonist? Or is this one of those harems, with those two girls included?
Disgusting.
Kyo-kun's the only protagonist I need.
At the infirmary, the nurse confirmed there was nothing wrong, though she remembered me from when I'd been in with Kyo-kun before.
When she whispered, “Trying to hit on someone else too?”
I felt an urge to slap her.
Once the examination was done, that Nagaoka Shuuji guy left. Just as I was about to follow, the two girls barged in.
“There you are, you thieving cat.”
Thieving cat? Really?
The twin-tailed girl kept yelling at me, calling me sneaky, and demanding I stay away from Shuuji.
The short-haired girl pretended to calm her down but never disagreed, occasionally glaring at me too.
Ugh, as if I care about that Nagaoka guy. I ignored them.
From their shouting, I caught the twin-tailed girl's name—Saito Yuka, Nagaoka's childhood friend—and the short-haired one was Mori Mai, a classmate.
I memorized their faces. Actually, I remembered a bit more than just the twin-tailed one's face, if you know what I mean.
The nurse finally stepped in, separating us and sending me out first. But even she looked at me with disdain, as if I was some weirdo trying to join a harem. Seriously!
I'm loyal to Kyo-kun, but everyone just says whatever they want! What if, by some slim chance, Kyo-kun hears these rumors and misunderstands? Who's going to take responsibility?
It's all that Nagaoka guy's fault.
His name and face are burned into my memory—I'll never forget this grudge.
I'll destroy your harem! Using Kyo-kun!
Later, I found some stress relief with a long-awaited NTR threesome, but my grudge against Nagaoka and his girls remained.
I've made up my mind. I'm going to make Kyo-kun steal all of Nagaoka's girls, breaking him so thoroughly he'll never get over it. And those girls? They'll be used up and tossed like trash. Only then will I be satisfied.
Right at the start of summer vacation, I dug up some information on Nagaoka and discovered he has a stepsister. Her name's Nagaoka Rina, a third-year middle schooler—his stepmother's daughter from a previous marriage.
And it turns out Rina-chan is actually Kyo-kun's mother's cousin's daughter. In other words, Kyo-kun's second cousin.
The Nagaoka family is struggling financially right now—her mom lost her job, and they're barely managing to support two kids. Perfect. I saw an opportunity and took action.
I spoke to Kyo-kun's mom (my future mother-in-law), explaining Rina-chan's situation and asked if the Kuzuha family could take her in. I'd cover all expenses.
I claimed it was one-third kindness—helping a family in need—and two-thirds selfishness, since if Rina-chan became Kyo-kun's stepsister, she'd eventually be my sister-in-law too, and I'd love a little sister. She believed me.
After discussing it with the Nagaoka family, and given their financial situation, they agreed to let Rina-chan be properly raised by the Kuzuha family.
Once all the paperwork was done, Rina-chan officially became Kuzuha Rina, Kyo-kun's stepsister.
Yay! I wanted to send a big thank-you gift to the Nagaoka family as a gesture of appreciation for raising Rina-chan, but Kyo-kun's mom stopped me. “It'll seem like we're buying Rina-chan. Don't do it.”
Aww, but I wanted them to feel that way.
On top of that, even though I intended to pay for everything, Kyo-kun's parents decided they'd contribute too, as part of their duty as her guardians.
The day after Aria-chan left for her family trip, Rina-chan moved into the apartment where Kyo-kun and I live.
She's here because her middle school's nearby, and she plans to attend Yusho High School to follow Nagaoka. So, now Rina-chan and I are roommates.
I wonder what kind of girl Rina-chan is. Maybe she'll fall for Kyo-kun too?
I can't wait to send a video letter to Nagaoka.
So many things to look forward to!
