A wandering elf traveling the world.
The last heir of a nine-thousand-year-old, single-lineage assassination sword tradition. Having witnessed the massacre of their clan by the Diabolos Cult, he travels from place to place seeking revenge… —this is the established backstory.

In reality, he is Sid, who anticipated the upcoming events and came to the Elf Kingdom during spring break at Midgar Magical Swordsman Academy.

Sid's goal is to participate in the Elf succession battle, so he approaches Lalanoa Hinoizumino, one of the candidates. He becomes Lalanoa's knight and mentor.

Elf royalty.
The daughter of the late Elf King Anorion and Ainoa Hinoizumino.
Though an elf, her mother Ainoa lived in a human kingdom, and because of her black hair—which should not appear in the royal line—she is looked down upon as a “mixed-blood.”

She has extraordinarily sharp eyesight and, by observing Nazono's movements, rapidly grows as a magical swordsman.
She participates in the royal succession battle to become the next king and to exact “annoyances” on everyone who disparaged her mother.

Elf royalty.
A girl endorsed by the other royal family that broke away from the current ruling line and disappeared from the public stage, now participating in the royal succession battle.
Backed by the Mitsugoshi Company, she has attracted attention as one of the strongest contenders in the succession.

Having spent her childhood together in the royal palace with Lalanoa, she regards her like a sister. However, her unconscious “looking down from above” attitude toward Lalanoa, who has long been oppressed by those around her, has caused friction between them.

During the royal succession battle, he was dispatched as a knight by the Mitsugoshi Company to support Sakura Tokiseiryuno.

In truth, he is Alpha, who infiltrated the elf kingdom to thwart the schemes of the Diabolos Cult.
Before founding Shadow Garden, Alpha went by the name “Kikyo Tokiseiryuno.” He hails from the same Tokiseiryuno clan as Sakura, and the two cooperate to achieve their respective goals.
