Under my blankets, I could only hear Yuki’s voice, her soft footsteps echoing in my room. I pull my face out of the covers to see her standing there in her cute patterned pajamas, illuminated by the dim lambent of the night.

“Yuki…?”

“You were awake too, weren’t you? I’m sorry… I couldn’t sleep either.”

“Ah… Yeah, me neither.”

“So, would you like to sleep with me?”

“Together…? In my bed?”

“Yeah,” she walked up right next to me.

Suppressing my titillating chest, I turned my back on her, only being able to wonder if she wore that bewitching smile again. If she did, my poor little heart wouldn’t be able to handle the excitement.

“Sorry to bother you~”

Yuki whispered softly as she reached for the blanket I wore. I felt it being flipped open as she slowly crept inside it.

I was alone with her in my small bed. The rumbling inside my chest showed no signs of stopping, so much so that I was worried she’d hear the thumping.

“Fufu~ Haru-kun, your heart is really going fast.”

“Ah…”

As I tried to scoot away, Yuki stopped me by placing her small hand on my chest. Everything was so transparent for her, that she knew exactly how I was feeling. She pressed herself on me, tightening her hug so I could feel her heartbeat and throbbing chest with my whole body.

“You’re so warm… I’ve always wanted to be with you like this…”

“O—Oh, I didn’t know that…”

“But it’s true. I’ve always been too embarrassed to do it, but, um… I thought I’d try to be brave today.”

“Try to be brave? But since a while ago you’ve been—”

—Wait a minute.

When I think about it, this also happened when she washed my back. She was very shy and acted like I didn’t notice it. Today she’s also been acting like a little devil, seducing me with her alluring smile.

But what if, even behind all those tempting smiles, she was embarrassed all along and acted to hide it?

If she had been brave enough to pretend to be a little devil, that meant the same Yuki who tried to enchant me and hug me like this is the same one I knew back then, so kind and lively.

I slowly turned to face Yuki, gazing into her glistening cerulean eyes. Under the dim light of the moon, I could see her flushing cheeks and soft exhales.

“Yuki, I had an amazing time today. Thanks for inviting me to the aquarium.”

“Oh, Haru-kun… I had fun too…” Her eyes lock into mine as she softly smiled.

The silence was comforting, and time flowed gently around us.

After a bit, I embraced her in a hug. She settled in my arms, and I felt her soft body. A scent lightly sweet wafted through the air as she reached out her hands to my back, hugging me back.

Her warmth was soothing and reassuring, and all the tension I felt up to now suddenly vanished. Soon, my eyelids started to get heavier.

It seemed the same was true for her. Yuki closed her eyelids slowly, and soon I could hear her delicate breathing.

She woke up early today, made a luxurious lunch, spent a lot of time getting ready to go out, and did her best to make the day enjoyable for both of us. And after all that, she bravely acted like a little devil to get closer to me. All of these unusual things made her tired.

So, let’s take a good rest tomorrow Yuki, at home.

Let’s cook together, play games, watch movies online, and enjoy our leisure time together, just the two of us.

I gently stroked Yuki’s head as she slept quietly, her eyes closed. Feeling the warmth of her supple and delicate body, I slowly close my eyes and fall straight into the dream world.
