Chapter 8: The Beginning Connection

　I heard the sound of her stomach growling.

　Shinozuka-san held her stomach in embarrassment.

　The next thing I knew, it was evening.

　I don’t remember how much time has passed.

“Damn it, I-I can’t help it, I didn’t eat lunch.”

　I put on a fake smile and tried to walk through.
