“What is that? This….. is three-dimensional”
“It looks like a black hole…”
“I don’t really understand, but let’s all run away!! It’s definitely dangerous!”
“Yeah, maybe it’s better to get away from here.”
Everyone is surprised, and it’s natural. Most likely, the people around the outlet mall will be in a commotion when the fairy Mel appears and starts a battle…
And then, when Mel realizes she can’t win…
“That’s a massive appearance… According to the legend, the Demon King could convert negative emotions into magic power, but this doesn’t seem like the Demon King… Even among the sealed demons, I don’t recall anyone looking like that. Is it all just a legend? Are there lies mixed in?”
A green-haired, Kansai-dialect speaking fairy named Mel observes a certain monster from the top of a building.
Mel’s given task was to deal with the demons that might venture into other worlds. She feared that the Demon King, Beelzebub, who possessed an astonishing ability to harness the negative emotions of others into magic power, could gather magic power from other worlds, potentially breaking through the world’s protective barrier, the World Order.
Fairies and demons have an insurmountable divide. Fairies have relatively low magical power, while demons, on the other hand, possess magic power many times greater than fairies and some even wield special abilities, like the “authority.” This led to the creation of “Magic Equipment,” for self-defense in case of any possible threat.
By using the “Star Spirits,” the fairies had mostly eradicated the demons, including the Demon King and his four subordinates, sealing them away and ushering in an era of peace. However, they knew that the time would come when the demons would return.
Mel, among the fairies, holds absolute power. Her magical power surpasses anyone else’s by fifty times that of an average person. Additionally, she has developed various magic items and is unmatched in her capabilities. However, she’s often left alone, as others struggle to keep up with her pace and would become a burden. To maintain the World Order’s protective barrier, it’s vital to avoid exposing magical beings to the outside world.
The Fairy King is confident that Mel can handle any unknown world with ease.
However, they are unaware of several miscalculations. First, the fact that the Demon King no longer has a physical body. Second, while the Demon King lacks a physical body, the demons have developed weapons capable of generating magic power from negative emotions. Third, no matter how hard the fairies try, they cannot defeat the demons.
“Well, let’s just beat that thing up for now.”
Mel activates her “Magic Equipment.” She holds a single dagger in her hand, wearing a maid outfit with a green ribbon attached to her chest and a frilly mini-skirt.
She leaps into action, confronting the vampire-like monster hovering in the air. Trying to assess the situation, she strikes with her dagger… and is met with an overwhelming force from above.
Sent flying from tens of meters above, she crashes forcefully into the concrete road.
Quick-witted as she is, Mel realizes her mistake immediately. She should have gone all out from the beginning, and she now understands that she can’t win against this opponent.
“I… can’t win against this… I may be the best in the world, but…”
Struggling to stand up, Mel realizes that the damage is severe, but she can still move. She starts preparing to retreat. At that moment, she notices modern-day people around her.
“This is bad!!”
“What the heck is that?!!”
Negative emotions. If left unchecked, they will provide an excessive supply of magic power. Mel ponders what to do.
“Kukuku, I thought something had happened, but you’re just a weakling.”
A vampire-like monster looks down at Mel from above.
“The creatures in this world are weak and helpless! They can generate large amounts of magic power from negative emotions!”
A special move, a “Magic Equipment Technique,” that can only be used when equipped with “Magic Equipment.” However, the wind projectile from Mel’s Wind Shoot doesn’t affect Dracula at all.
“What did you think that would do?”
“Really, demons are monsters…”
“More accurately, I’m a monster rather than a demon. But never mind that. If you know me, you’re not from this world. Are you from the Fairy Clan?”
“What if I am?”
“Well, I didn’t expect much from a weak race like yours! This won’t even scratch me!”
As Dracula swings his arm to punch Mel, she manages to avoid it but realizes the overwhelming strength difference between them.
While dodging, Mel, who is clever, ponders how to break the current situation. If she runs away, this monster might come to Artemis eventually.
She must defeat it here and now. But she can’t do it alone.
In just ten seconds, Mel comes up with an answer. She needs to rely on the residents of this world, who have significant magical power.
Observing this world briefly, Mel realizes that it is peaceful, much like her own world. However, it lacks resistance to supernatural phenomena, leading to more chaos than necessary.
But they are a different race. There might be an extraordinary magic wielder among them, someone she can ask for help.
Quickly, she starts sensing magical power. She doesn’t know if anyone like that exists, but she has to try. Otherwise, her world will be destroyed.
As she senses the magical power around, an extraordinary magic power value appears. Far surpassing her own. Moreover, multiple reactions in one location. Mel hurries to that place.
“This is it… ‘Wind Shoot.'”
Using her “Magic Equipment Technique” as a smokescreen, Mel makes her escape.
“Are you running away? Well, fine. I get to go on a rampage and draw out multiple negative emotions. It’s my job, after aaaaaallllllll!!!”
Finally, the monster starts rampaging.
The demons, who were watching through Dracula, were delighted. In this world, they could easily gather magic power…
However, the demon side also had a significant miscalculation.
Firstly, there was a magic wielder who far surpassed the fairies in magical power.
Secondly, these individuals were willing to cooperate with the fairies.
Thirdly, among them, there was someone who had knowledge of an extraordinary world.
“Hurry, let’s run! There’s no way that’s normal!”
“Yes, it looks like there are explosions too.”
“What on earth is happening?”
“We should focus on escaping!”
We hurriedly left the high ground to get away from the outlet mall where explosions were occurring.
Soon, Mel should have noticed us and would be heading our way. Originally, Gindou Kohaku, Hihara Karen, Kikawa Moegi and Kataumi Aoi were supposed to encounter her slightly away from the outlet mall. They would then escape together, and that’s where Mel would join them.
This location was safer than originally planned, considering our distance, but Mel could still sense us. That’s what I was thinking when suddenly someone clad in a green maid-like magic armor appeared before us.
“Hey, you five! Can you spare a moment?!”
We were taken aback by the sudden approach of this superhuman individual.
“W-Who are you!?”
“My name is Mel! I’ll explain the details later! Right now, can you lend me your strength to stop that rampaging monster!?”
She desperately asked for our help, but the girls were hesitant, which was understandable. Being asked to fight by someone they barely knew was confusing.
“Why should we do that?”
“Because you all possess magic power beyond the ordinary!”
“Magic power? What’s that?”
“Well, it’s like a special power or something!”
“Are you talking about that monster making all the explosions?”
Gindou Kohaku, Hihara Karen, Kikawa Moegi and Kataumi Aoi asked in turn, hesitating to commit to joining the fight. They seemed reluctant to get involved.
“Do I have that magic power?” (Izayoi)
“Yes, all five of you are magic power holders beyond belief!”
They were showing reluctance… Just like in the “story.” They were asked multiple times, screamed at, and eventually, that’s when they would put on their magic armor. However, it wasn’t easy to grasp them like that.
But right now, a demon-created monster was wreaking havoc, and magic power was being supplied.
“I’ll lend a hand.”
“Really?! Thank you so much! In that case, take this spare magic armor and use it!”
She handed over a small “magic armor equipment: magic holder”, which looked like a mobile phone with a design that opens up.
“Open it and press the button inside!”
“W-Wait a minute! Izayoi-kun! Are you really going to believe what this incomprehensible person says? She might be lying! Be more cautious!”
“That’s right! This can’t be real! Let’s ditch this and run!”
“I think you should think about it a little more… She’s cute, but also kind of suspicious.”
“You should take a moment to stop and think.”
It’s reassuring that they’re concerned about me, but I can’t just stop here. Furthermore, if they realize that I’m safe now, it might make it easier for them to embrace their own “Magic armor.”
I pressed the button.
At that moment, something like a magic circle expanded. It enveloped me, and as I emerged from the dazzling light, I found myself wearing a black gothic lolita outfit with a black ribbon at my chest. Strangely, my hair had become long.
“I-Izayoi-kun!? This is… kind of… acceptable…”
“Why are you in a gothic lolita outfit?”
“For some reason, something resonated within me…”
“It actually suits you, though…”
I could hear their thoughts. I turned around to confirm the situation and felt a surge of power.
So, this is “Magic armor”…
As instructed, I put strength into my legs and jumped. In an instant, the scenery changed as I flew about twenty meters. Even with that jump, I still had energy left. I could fly even more.
An incredible power…
“Alright, let’s go defeat that monster right away! Follow me!”
“I-I’ll do it too! I can’t let you go alone, Izayoi-kun!”
“If Izayoi is going, count me in!”
“I-I will join too.”
“Thanks, all of you! With your strength combined, it’s like having the power of five thousand people!”
Mel handed each of them the magic armor equipment and the four of them pressed the buttons.
They were enveloped in light, and each of them donned their magic armor. I can’t believe I’m witnessing this moment…
Gindou Kohaku wore a silver dress with a tiara and wielded the radiant sword, Light Calibur. I couldn’t help but think how beautiful she looked, like someone I’d want to marry.
Hihara Karen wore a red sailor-like outfit with a ribbon at the chest and a red miniskirt. She had two swords in her hands, and the erotic design of her Dual Inferno Skirts made me want her to give me a knee pillow.
Kikawa Moegi wore a vibrant yellow maid outfit, and her yellow headpiece made me want her to serve me. I’d like to be called “Master.” She wielded glove-like iron fists known as the Thunder Fist Voltage Knuckle.
Kataumi Aoi wore a shrine maiden-like kimono, slightly disheveled, with her shoulders exposed and a bit of a fluttering sensation, maintaining a traditional Japanese style. She also had a large blue ribbon on her head.
I want to play with her all day long, playing tiger fist and kinpira boats and so on.
In one hand, she held the lake’s dagger, Undine Knife.
“Isn’t my skirt too short? It’s definitely going to show my panties…”
“This is my first time wearing a maid outfit… Surprisingly, it’s not bad.”
“I’m not sure if my outfit is traditional Japanese or Western… It’s a bit too revealing.”
“I’m quite happy with mine. It gives off a bit of a wedding dress vibe too.”
“Thank you so much! As a test run, everyone, try jumping together.”
They hesitantly tried jumping.
As they all jumped, a strong gust of wind blew, and my long hair swayed considerably. They jumped about twenty meters, and when they landed, they had surprised expressions.
“This is insane…”
“I must be dreaming…”
“It’s really unbelievable…”
Unbelievable as it may seem, this was the reality of their potential.
“With your magic power, you should be able to fight more than adequately. Follow me.”
Mel suddenly leaped, and we tried to follow suit, but we ended up jumping too far and getting scattered all around. However, it was evident that we could cover distances far greater than Mel’s in an instant.
“This is quite challenging!”
“I ended up flying more than I thought.”
“Huh? I meant to go that way.”
“I put in too much strength.”
“Seriously, this is incredible…”
While Mel was amazed, I spoke to her from a little distance away.
“I’m going to act separately for a bit. I’m counting on you, four.”
“What?! Wait, that’s too sudden!”
I left them and started executing a certain plan.
[Third person POV]
The town was in chaos as the monstrous creature, Dracula, wreaked havoc, creating holes in the roads and destroying traffic signals. The destruction was relentless.
“Guha-hahaha! Bow down, inhabitants of this world!”
Suddenly, the voices of five girls echoed through the chaos.
Hihara Karen and the other girls stood before the rampaging monster.
“I’ll support you. It’s probably too much for you to fight alongside them”
Mel stepped back, assessing the situation.
Dracula turned his attention to the girls.
“Who are you all?”
Without hesitation, the girls began to introduce themselves dramatically, adhering to the established conventions of their world.
“Snow white magical girl… Secret Silver!!!”
“Crimson magical girl… Secret Red!!!”
Hence, they go on introducing themselves boldly, right from the beginning… wondering how they do it without even realizing. Somehow, they can do it effortlessly, striking a pose as well.
They don’t hold any meetings or discussions. It’s a matter of convenience or a predictable trope. And during this self-introduction scene, enemies never attack. Although there are exceptions where enemies may attack, it’s generally expected that they won’t. It’s the unwritten rule.
Yes, unwritten rule. Absolutely. But it applies only to the characters.
Meanwhile, Izayoi, a man who understood the unwritten rule of the world, took advantage of the enemy’s immobility and swiftly moved behind Dracula, stabbing and slicing his neck.
Blood-like substance splattered around. A rain of blood. He swiftly and decisively defeated the monstrous creation of the demons, Dracula, splitting its head and body into two.
He had his reasons for doing so. One was that the girls were not yet accustomed to their magical powers, and he believed it would be better for them to train and ensure their safety margin before engaging in serious battles.
Additionally, this was their first fight, and while they managed to win quite easily, the magical girls also sustained some damage. He knew this, yet he couldn’t stand idly by, which led him to take action.
He defied the rules of speed and optimal decision-making. He understood that sympathizing with the enemy would cause an uproar on the internet, but he didn’t let that stop him.
He will not stop. He has and will continue……
His eccentric actions would continue to unfold, defying all conventions.
Thus, a magical girl (boy) emerged, deemed dangerous by both foes and allies alike.
Suddenly he muttered. Words that would later be handed down as power words on the internet for eternity…
