“And don’t forget the reward your filthy hands stole from Rokoko, vermins! Give them all back!” I shouted before infusing magic into my legs. dashing around without holding back.
“Ugh?!”
“Guh?!”
“Gwah?!”
“Bweh?!”
“Bwah?!”
Still livid, I retrieved her rightful provision from the crawling worms on the ground. As an extra, I figured I’d snatch their belongings. And as an extra, extra, I gave each a solid punch in the gut.
It didn’t matter anymore because I’d already declared my hostility against their party. Regardless, what’s more important now is…
“Rokoko, the town is still pretty far. Eat this to strengthen yourself. Oh, wait, I’ll get it all cleaned up,” I activated the magical mechanism found in my left-hand bracelet, summoning a particular item from my extradimensional storage.
As an ex-member of that guy’s party, I had my fair share of rare items. The one I just grabbed was one of them—Holy Water. It could remove any kind of impurity, be it poison, a curse; so on and so forth.
Vial in hand, I sprinkled the sanctified water onto the dirty provisions. In an instant, all the filth and grime dissipated to nowhere, revealing the bread, ham, and sausages to be as lustrous as restaurant food.
“Wow…!”
“Hey. Here you go, Rokoko.”
Extending my hand toward her, whose moon eyes sparkled excitedly, I motioned to hand over the rejuvenated food.
“Wait a second,” I reconsidered after one look at her hands, which she’d timidly reached out in order to get her prize. Aiming the vial, I sprinkled some more Holy Water onto her hands.
The persistent filth vanished as soon as it came in contact with her hands, revealing a radiant patch of beautiful tan skin.
“Thank you,” she expressed her gratitude as I finally handed her the food. She eyed me again before biting into the food she desperately fought for.
Just watching her smile bloom each time she took a bite was enough for me. Using that Holy Water was worth it, for sure.
Then, I chucked the remaining food and the belongings I obtained as a ‘reward’ from the Fellowship into my storage for the time being.
“Bwah…?! Oww, that hurts…! You b*****d, not once but twice…?! And you even helped yourself to our things?! You thieving scoundrel!”
Ah, that’s right. I forgot. One strike was way too light a punishment for these vermins. I need to make sure to give them a proper taste of retribution, don’t I?
