Recalling the humiliation she’d suffered today, Mei Ayagawa clobbered the giant stuffed animal in her room, blinded by anger. After beating him for a while, perhaps satisfied, she gasps for air and then resentfully cries against the girl she’d met, Usami, and her own ex-boyfriend.

“That b*tch! I’ll never forgive her! And that guy… He used to be my slave and now he’s suddenly against me?!”

The vindictive girl no longer wore her mask, letting her ugly personality reveal itself.

“Haah… Oh well, guess I’ll get Masaki-kun to heal me tomorrow!”

Her mind flashed back to when she kneeled on the ground, begging for her life, as those men in black suits surrounded her. She did so without any shame, and even after all that’s happened, she had not a drop of remorse.

She spent every second of her time pondering how to torture the boy and girl who humiliated her.

“Oooh, I know! I’ll take pictures of you naked and put them on the inter—No, I’ll just make you f*ck any dirty homeless guy I find! I’ll make you know what happens when someone lays their hands on me!”

She plopped on her bed, happily contemplating the black and dusky future that Haruki and his friends would follow, not even knowing someone was listening to her every word.

Riiiiiiing—!

It was Monday, the first day of the week students would have to attend school. She stopped the alarm from ringing and stretches her arms with a yawn. Looking up to her ceiling, she kept dreaming of the miserable days she’d bring to Haruki and his peers.

“I’m having so much fun just thinking about it! They’ll suffer~! Oh, but first, I need to go to school, or my character as a beautiful, elegant honor student will be destroyed!”

Jumping out of her bed, she quickly washes her face and brushes her teeth. A thin layer of makeup was essential, and soon she had her uniform on.

“I’m off~!”

Shoes on, she greets the ones who aren’t home and leaves the house. Stepping outside, everyone stared in awe of her sheer beauty. Pretending not to notice, she keeps walking to her school.

Ahh~ It’s nice outside, after all. Everyone I pass by turns their heads without thinking, and soon, yesterday’s humiliation will fade, bit by bit.

Skipping along her path, she felt good about everyone’s attention on her. Although she was all giddy inside, she showed no signs of it. Great mental fortitude, she had. Perhaps that’s why she was able to live without letting her rotten personality show.

“Fufu~♪ Fufufu~♪”

Gradually feeling better, she kept walking and humming a tune. Eventually, she reached the school’s gate. While she headed straight ahead, she couldn’t help but notice the increasing amount of stares.

Moreover, unlike the fawning glances she’d always received, these were rather disturbing. Looking ahead, she also saw a crowd of students gathered at the main entrance.

Something seems out of the ordinary… Is anything wrong?

As she kept walking and pondering, one of the girls came up to her.

Um… Oh, I let her be one of my cronies… Reiko Kasai, right?

Getting close to her cronies, she put on an outgoing sales-girl smile.

“Kasai-chan, good morning~!”

“Yeah—No! It’s not a good morning Mei! You’re in trouble! I can’t tell because the eyes are covered, but there are pictures all over school of someone who looks like you, um… hanging out with a criminal, or handing a plastic bag filled with white powder to a shady guy!”

“Eh…?”

For a moment, she was taken aback by her crony’s sudden words, but she quickly recomposed.

“W–Where are these photos?!”

“On the bulletin board at the front entrance!”

Upon hearing that, she immediately darted to the main entrance. Approaching the board, all the students who’ve noticed her distanced themselves, opening a path. She passed through the crowd and laid eyes on the bulletin board.

The first thing she saw was, “Big Scoop! The Honor Student’s Dark Side is Finally Revealed! I can’t believe she was doing this behind the scenes…”, and the rest of the board was filled with pictures of her and her friends’ past misdeeds.

A dialogue balloon was pinned somewhere in the middle, and it said “I’m sorry! I’m sorry!”

W–WHAT THE F*CK IS THIS? HUH?! They did it, didn’t they? They said they wouldn’t do anything else, but THEY DID! YOU CHEATERS—!

Thus, she shelves the dusky thoughts she had been drawing in her mind and her vendetta against Haruki and the others grows. While her resentment grew, one of her cronies approached her.

“Mei-chan… This isn’t you, right?”

She was one of the newbies in her little group, thus she didn’t know anything about her rotten nature.

“O–Of course not! These are photoshopped or something like that!”

“Y–Yeah, of course! I’m so relieved… There’s no way you’d do something like this, after all!”

She said that while, in fact, she did exactly what was in the pictures. Meanwhile, her cronies just took her word for it, ignorant of that fact.

“Well then, shall we rip the photos off? I’ll help you!”

“Y–Yeah, let’s do that.”

She replied vaguely to her cronies and started peeling off her incriminating photos. However, they were firmly stuck with glue, and it was exceedingly difficult to remove them. By the time they’d finished, it was 12 PM, and all students were having recess.

After peeling off the photos, she returned to her class so she could have lunch. Stepping inside her classroom, the stares she received weren’t the usually warm ones, instead, they were filled with malice.

This contrast took her aback, but she quickly regained composure and sat down on her seat, and took out her lunch box.

Usually, whenever she started eating, people would just flock to her, but now no one dared to approach her. The only one who did so was that new crony who still thought she was innocent.

Mei had her lunch with some cronies around, putting on an ostensibly cheerful smile while experiencing a terrible humiliation.
