Sh*t! Sh*t! F*ck! F*ck! F*ck! I’ve had a really bad day! This is all their fault!
As Mei Ayagawa walked home, her resentment toward Haruki and the others only grew. Looking around, she confirmed the rumors hadn’t spread outside school yet.
However, her paranoia soon turned into excitement as she thought of a plan.
When I get back, I’m gonna get papa to help me! It’ll be fine, a little begging and he’ll do whatever I say! Haruki~ You’ll be sorry you got carried away with me!
She imagined Haruki’s and the others’ futures as if to deceive an unidentified impatience that came from within herself.
Soon, Mei reached the front of a very big house. Getting to the front gate, she noticed a black luxury car parked in the yard.
Hell yeah! Daddy’s home! I’ll make them PAY!
So she opens the front door of her home with great enthusiasm. But she should’ve paid attention to something:
Why is it that her father’s car was there a little before 5 PM, when he usually comes home at 7?
Entering the house, she noticed the living room lights being on, and her father’s voice coming from inside.
Papa’s in the living room!
Mei opened the door with a start, and there was her father, holding his phone with a disheveled expression. He bowed while on a call with someone.
She could now hear her father’s voice clearly.
“Sir, please! If this continues, I’m doomed! Please, will you use your influence to solve this matter? What? You’re receiving pressure from above? Sir? SIR!?”
That shameful sight displayed by her father, which she had never seen before, stopped her from thinking. She stood at the entrance of the room, dumbstruck.
The father, on the other hand, crouched with his head in his hands for a while before finally noticing her as if in a huff.
“H–Hey, welcome back, Mei. D–Did you perhaps overhear my call?”
Her father’s eyes were dull, lifeless as he asked her the question. Dismayed by that pathetic sight, she answered.
“Y–Yeah. Just the last bit…”
“G–Got it… I’m sure you’ll hear this even if I don’t tell you, but papa has been accused of something… I’ve been accused of illegally spending political expenses and will be questioned by a prosecutor in the near future, so I might not be able to stay home for a while…”
What her father told her confused her severely. According to her own plan, she was going to tell her father about Haruki and the others’ misdeeds and bring them all down to the bottom of the well.
However, it turned out that her father, the one person she could count on, was about to be interrogated by lawyers. The sudden turn of events left her stunned.
For a while, no word could come out of her mouth. After a bit, a logical question came to her mind.
“Papa… You really didn’t do it, right?”
“A–Ah! Of course, there’s no way I did it!”
You’re lying!
She felt that intuitively. Could she sense her father’s lies because he was her own blood? Or was it because she herself had been drowning in her own lies?
In any case, she knew her father was lying.
He was useless now, so Mei had to rely on her only remaining parent: her mother.
“Papa, where’s mama?” She cut off her father from speaking.
“Mama? Haha, the second she heard the news, she ran away. After that, I got a bad feeling and looked at my bank account, and it was clean… I felt like I poofed out of existence…”
After saying this, her father continued to laugh like a madman.
“AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!”
Hearing his hysteria, along with the news of her mother’s disappearance, made her feel more anger than worry toward her parents.
But she knew where her mother had run off to.
THAT WOMAN—! She went to the man she was cheating on my father with! Such a b*tch, running off with the money when dad’s in trouble!
But she forgot the fact she cheated on Haruki, unfaithfully mingling with another boy, and became increasingly angry at her own mother.
The fact Mei knew her mom was unfaithful and left it alone, either way, was proof enough that the Ayagawa family itself was crazy, to begin with.
Holding back her gut from churning with anger at her mother, she put on a smile and turned to her father.
“Don’t worry! I believe you’re innocent, dad!”
“Mei…! Only you believe in papa!”
With that, she gently accepted her father’s hug. However, he could not see her ruthless expression.
Now I have some money for the time being… We shouldn’t have trouble living for now…
Having palmed off her own father and secured her immediate livelihood, she immediately turned her hatred toward the two people who weren’t there: Haruki and the others.
They’re the ones behind this—!
Although she had no proof, she intuitively sensed that Haruki and the others had done this to her, and her heart burned with a thirst for vendetta against them.
Feeling she could no longer rely on her parents, she considered other means to take revenge against her ex and his family.
T–That’s right! Akutsu-senpai would be the best!
She remembered someone she’s dated, the leader of a criminal group who was absolved no matter what he did and had the brilliant idea of using them for her revenge.
Watch it, b*tches! I’m gonna make you regret it!
Muttering this in her mind, she went out of the house to go to the abandoned building where the seniors were rooting around.
“Haah… Haah… Ha!”
She ran quickly, finally arriving in front of the abandoned building. It was 6 Pm, and night gradually overtook day, the light slowly fading into dusk.
After catching her breath, she rushes up the stairs and runs to the rooftop where the bad group of seniors usually hung out.
Haah… Haah… Almost there!
As she ran up the last step of the staircase, she saw… several fallen people. Looking closely at the dimly lit figures, she realized that they were the seniors she would ask for help.
W, What the hell is this? Why are all the seniors down!?
Dumbstruck by the scene unfolding before her, she heard a woman’s voice she’d only known recently.
“Are you in a good mood, Ayagawa-san?”
All she could see was Kyou Usami stepping out of the darkness.

May 20, 2022 at 5:44 pmOkay so the entire family is just cartoonishly evil. Honestly can’t feel much catharsis. I’d have preferred if she experienced something similar to the MC (with his own mother who he actually loved not trusting him) with her parents except she’s actually awful.
Also Usami stepping out of the shadows like a Saturday cartoon boss is just iconic. I wouldn’t call this story anywhere near a masterpiece, but I want it animated JUST for that.
