They glared at each other for a while. He seems to be amused that the person he has been one-sidedly bullying for so long is contradicting him.
“I didn’t like you from the moment you came in, but you’re still a brat with no sense of propriety, you little twerp!”
The chef raises his fist in the air. The staff in the kitchen and in the back also looked wide-eyed at this argument.
“If you hit me, you’re guilty of assault. I’ll call the police.”
The chef stopped moving. Sousuke looked at him coldly.
“Baldy had a sense of reason, huh? You can beat me until I get hurt, you know. I definitely won’t be able to work here, though.”
“It’s stupid to get caught beating the sh*t out of someone like you.”
“You’re smarter than I thought you’d be. For a moron.”
“What did you say?”
“You’re an idiot, no? You cussed out an employee in front of a customer, and then you make a comment about a customer not being a customer.”
Sousuke turned his gaze to Shion.
“Shio, you can put this on social media.” [TL: Not a typo he calls her Shio]
He hands over his own phone.
“I recorded what you just said. I also took all of your previous outbursts. The police won’t act, but you know what happens if I post it on the Internet, right?”
“Y-You son of a b*tch.”
As they were exchanging these words, the manager came out from the back of the room.
“Hey, what are you doing?”
“Ou, manager, this guy’s messing with me again.”
Then she glared at me.
“Sugaya-kun, is it you again? Really, that’s enough.”
“Shut up, you old hag.”
Sousuke’s change in attitude caused the manager to stop moving.
“W-What are you doing?”
“I said shut up. Don’t talk in that annoying voice. You’re giving me a headache.”
“Oh, you, you’re talking to me ……. I’ve heard enough. You’re fired today. I’ve run out of patience.”
She probably thought he would apologize to her if she said this. But Sousuke clicked his tongue.
“From the beginning, you never had any patience with me.”
“Wha ……! What is that way of talking to a superior?”
Sousuke turns his gaze to Mizuka.
“Well, this is how things are going.”
“No, this is pretty serious, isn’t it? You are doing very well.”
“Sou-chan is in trouble again. ……”
Shion was amusingly flustered.
“A-Are you listening to me?”
The manager is also puzzled by the fact that she was completely ignored.
“Why should I listen to you? You don’t owe me anything. Don’t be so presumptuous.”
“What did you say….?”
Then Mizuka stood up.
“Well, well. Actually, Sugaya-kun stopped him. The bald old man yelled, ‘You little b*****s aren’t our customers. Get the hell out of here, you idiot!’. He yelled at us, and this girl was crying.”
The manager pulled a face.
“D-Did you say that? To the customer?”
The chef was in a panic.
“I-I didn’t say that, these guys are Sugaya’s acquaintances.”
“Ha? Because they are my acquaintances?”
The chef seemed to be at a loss for what to say next.
“Uhm, are you the manager?”
Mizuka tilts her head with a smile.
“Y-yes, something like that.”
“Your employees, especially this old man, aren’t well trained, are they? Do you think it’s okay to behave like this towards customers? Customers. We’re customers, customers that are in a position to pay for anything. You can’t treat people who pay for things like that, even if they are children.”
“I-I’m truly sorry.”
“If all you have to say is ‘I’m truly sorry,’ there’s no need for the police. What are you going to do? I’m not in a very good mood”
Mizuka follows up with a smile.
“Uugh…..I am really sorry. You should apologize too.”
“Why do I have to apologize? They’re Sugaya’s.”
“Uncle is talking out of turn because we know each other? Does this restaurant discriminate against customers?”
Finally, both of them shut up.
“Don’t bite the bullet if you won’t be able to argue.”
“So, I was fired, right? I guess this is it for today, goodbye.”
“I guess we should go home, too. I don’t want to eat in a place like this.”
With Mizuka’s help, he said goodbye to this workplace.
