V1ch22: After White Contact

I still order the hate ranking as red > black > white > blue. I’m guessing here but blue was most likely focused on something else and autopilot responding to people that talked to her at that time. Probably gonna see a pov from her at that time and after she responded was when she actually stopped and thought about what she heard and what she just said. Most likely since one of the classmates chatting s**t commented about how they were right to “warn” her, since shota just walked by the classroom door. Btw neko best girl. Why? Cat girl always best girl, duh.

He was hurt by them in more than one way to the point of it becoming a trauma that led him to move to the countryside just to escape them. Especially when he is a teenager where the strength of emotions are amplified compared to when they are an adult. He was accused, framed, assaulted, and betrayed and then he came back all fine and dandy? Also the fact that he not only came back fine but, I know its to try to hide his identity as he changed name and exercised enough to the point he doesn’t resemble the old him, he still went along with these girls just because “oh life is trash bla bla”. I swear if he was told to lick the girls’ feet he’ll do it and then blame it on life or himself. It feels like the MC wants to get back with these girls and I know for sure there are no teenager that’ll do that. They basically ruined his life and faced zero repercussion for it and we are supposed to give them our sympathy? I can only think of one answer to this questions and that is the MC literally feel that he is a new person and has thrown away the old him in a literal sense. The old him that has been besmirch is basically dead and now he is reborn as new so the MC doesn’t look at his past in first person but 3rd person instead. To those who have read the raw version please tell me it won’t keep going like this cause I’m getting tired of the MC just bowing his head and do whatever these girls told him to do.

April 10, 2022 at 8:04 pmthat’s the problem with these types of Japanese novels. their MCs are complete idiots, are incapable of expressing anger / holding a grudge, or both. it’s like “these girls ruined my life and, even though I’m supposed to be undercover, I’m going to hang out & make nice with them”. a smart person would avoid them, ghost them, etc. given their statuses as “gods”, it wouldn’t be hard to blend in with the other “commoners”. but this guy can’t help himself. he just has to mediate for Red. he just has to play games with Blue. he just has to step in for Black. it’s really annoying. even if he doesn’t want revenge, he should just let karma deal with these girls & keep his mouth shut.

Red > Blue = White > Black
My reasons are quite simple.
Red was a spoiled brat who wanted things her way but never wanted to ask for it but rather be rude and say it. That’s what she did to Shota, she wanted to him to get better like the other good looking guys but instead of asking him nicely she started bad mouthing him and stuff. For the rumours we don’t exactly know who started them, it can be Red but I guess it was from Nekoda, she might just had a misunderstanding about Shota stalking Red and hence spread the rumours, well the reason why Red approved of it can be because she wanted Shota to look at her how popular she was and so he should change himself but it had a bad effect.
Blue was not that bad compared to red. The thing about her keeping her distance from Shota was simple peer pressure. She was forced to believe by her classmates and her other friends to stay away from him and she couldn’t do anything. The thing about pushing him down the stairs can be an accident. She might running her way down the stairs and they bumped into each other. Hence I believe that to atone for this she stopped being a track team member. Also the reason why she never visited Shota in the hospital is because she could never manage to gather the strength to look him into the eyes and apologize.
White was a case for heart damage, she is on the same level as Blue because what she did was certainly wrong but not as worse as Red. White had a character of using others to her own selfish means. She keeps information to the limited and uses the other person. If she had simply asked Shota in junior high to pretend be lovers so she could make her brother jealous it would have been simple for Shota, but she didn’t share complete information. She is a selfish b***h. Well what she did can actually be forgiven under some normal circumstances but Shota had already had been heart broken thrice so he was in very state.
Finally Black. Well she wasn’t particularly at fault. It was all a misunderstanding, it’s very simple to understand that when Black came back to school she didn’t knew about the rumours of Shota trying to attempt rape. Reason? Other people around Black didn’t wanted her to remind of that incident hence they would just try to avoid Shota’s subject infront of Black! And Black gets to know about the attempt to rape rumours very late when Shota drops out of school and she flips a switch and beats her friend who was the cause of these baseless rumours. Also the reason why Black never tried to frame the Senpai who was actually the real culprit is because she didn’t want any extra attention, plus that guy was handsome so it’s obvious ppl won’t believe her and the friends she had finally made would all run away.
